当ホテルの周辺には有名な観光地、名勝「万座毛」があります。

沖縄本島のほぼ真ん中に位置し、東シナ海を望む万座毛。「万座毛」の由来は「万人も座する草原」。「毛」は野原を表します。隆起サンゴが作り出した断崖のアートと天然の芝が広がります。

The hotel is surrounded by a famous tourist attraction, the scenic Manzamo.

Manzamo is located almost in the middle of the main island of Okinawa,
overlooking the East China Sea. The name of the place ‘Manza-Mo’ comes from ‘the meadow where everyone wants to sit’.
The ‘hair’ represents a field.
The cliff art created by uplifted coral and natural grass spreads out.

万座毛の入口には、女流歌人として伝わる「恩納ナビー」の歌碑があります。
琉球時代の王が、万座毛に立ち寄った際に、「恩納ナビー」が琉球を歌い喜ばれたそうです。
今も昔も沖縄の人々は歌を音楽を愛してやまないのです。

At the entrance to Manzamage, there is a monument to ‘Onna Nabby’,
a female poetess who has been handed down from generation to generation.
It is said that when the king of the Ryukyu period stopped by Manzamo,
‘Onna Nabby’ sang a song about the Ryukyu Islands to his delight.
